Borough Drop Boxes (Not for Election Ballots)

In light of our office closure and in an effort to minimize the disruption of valued services, an external drop box has been affixed to the rear of Borough Hall and the front of the Building Dept. & Fire Prevention Building. (These drop boxes are NOT for Election ballots.) This is not only for regular mail service, but also for our residents who need to make payments or conduct other business but are unable to do so because of our office closure.

In order to ensure the proper distribution of any item left in the drop box, please be advised that mail should NOT contain cash. Items placed in the drop box should:

Clearly indicate the person’s name and the department the mail is going to.
If mail is specifically for the Municipal Court the mail should contain the name, address and violation #.

If the mail is specifically for the Tax Collector the mail should contain the name, address, block and lot number of the property.

The drop box will be checked twice daily, and the mail will be distributed accordingly.
