Community Center
The Jack Alter Fort Lee Community Center is a 35,000 square foot facility that opened in October of 2005. It is home to many of the Borough’s youth and adult sports’ organizations, including basketball, soccer, baseball, softball and more. The Center offers seasonal programs for Fort Lee residents, many of which are free. These include, but are not limited to, Latin Zumba Aerobics, Tai Chi, Ballroom Dance, Pilates, Pilates Gold, Yoga, Chair Yoga, Stretch and Tone, Line Dancing and Salsacize.

Fire Prevention Bureau
The Fort Lee Fire Prevention Bureau is a multifaceted department staffed by full time and part time employees and is responsible for the enforcement of all state and local fire codes within the Borough of Fort Lee.

Municipal Court
It is through the Fort Lee Municipal Court that most citizens in the Borough come into contact with the judicial system, either as a defendant, a victim, or a witness. The Municipal Courts in NJ are considered courts of limited jurisdiction, having responsibility for minor criminal-type offenses (for example, simple assault and bad checks) Motor vehicle and parking tickets, municipal ordinance offenses (such as dog barking or building code violations), and other offenses, such as fish and game violations.

Office of Emergency Management
The Fort Lee Office of Emergency Management is dedicated to the preparedness of our community for serious events. Our staff is made up of committed volunteers who have undergone training to further help the citizens of the Borough.

Office of Veteran Affairs
Advising resident veterans, their families and dependents of benefits earned through honorable active duty in the U.S Military, and to provide guidance and assistance in searching for appropriate applications for veteran's needs and benefits.

Parking Authority
The Parking Authority of Fort Lee is dedicated to promoting the free flow of traffic by providing, managing, and maintaining public street parking; providing the construction of off street parking lots and facilities to relieve traffic congestion that are clean, safe, and affordable. All established parking offers a variety of payment options for the convenience of the general public.

Planning Board
The Planning Board is a statutory body empowered to prepare and review the Master Plan for the Borough; to recommend and review Zoning Ordinances for the Borough; and to hear Subdivision, Site Plan and Conditional Use applications.

Police Department
The FLPD currently has 95 active duty members under Chief Matthew J. Hintze. It's location at 1327 16th Street houses a full police operations facility including a detention cellblock for holding prisoners, full processing and fingerprinting facilities, record-keeping facilities, and secured evidence storage. Tax Assessor
The Tax Assessor's office provides a fair and equitable assessment for each property; educates the public about the property tax system; provides information to the public regarding their value and how it was determined and to assist property owners with forms regarding property tax deductions.

Social Media and Public Relations supports and upholds the Borough’s stated mission, vision and values, with oversight of public information, public relations, special events, mobile platforms, graphic design, marketing, social media, and the Borough's official website.

Volunteer Ambulance Corps
The Fort Lee VAC is a non-profit agency that has provided life-saving emergency medical services to the Borough of Fort Lee, NJ and surrounding areas for over 45 years.

Zoning Board
The Zoning Board of Adjustment is the Board of “non-permitted uses.” Zoning Boards deal primarily with the issuance of variances.

General Services
General Services is responsible for the support of both general government services provided to the citizens of the Borough of Fort Lee, as well as the internal departments that support the infrastructure of the Borough government. This Division employs 9 employees who perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: air conditioning, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work to over 20 borough buildings. With the support and aid of the General Services Division, all other departments are able to ensure efficient operations, thus enabling them to more effectively serve the community.
