May is PAINT THE TOWN PINK Month & 2nd Annual Paint & Sip for Women's Health 5/15/18

PAINT THE TOWN PINK is a community-wide effort presented by Hackensack Meridian Health to connect women to wellness and raise awareness of the importance of annual mammograms and annual health screenings. PAINT THE TOWN PINK encourages women in our communities to have their annual screenings and to make their overall wellness a priority. We strive to encourage women to take steps towards a healthier lifestyle. Stay tuned for ways Fort Lee is going to PAINT THE TOWN PINK!

The 2nd Annual Paint & Sip For Women's Health
Tuesday, May 15, 6-10pm
This women only event will include dinner and wine provided by DoubleTree by Hilton, a presentation on women's health and wellness from Tatiana Kasilov, M.D., F.A.C.C., and a paint and sip session led by Pinot's Palette Edgewater where all participants will paint their own pair of wine glasses!
$50 per person, registration required. Please RSVP by May 2nd by contacting the Fort Lee Health Dept at 201.592.3500 x1510.

Flag Raising Ceremony in Remembrance of the Armenian Genocide - SATURDAY!

With the blessing of STS Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, in remembrance of the Armenian Genocide, there will be a Flag Raising Ceremony on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 2pm in front of Borough Hall, 309 Main Street, Fort Lee.

Organized by ANC of NJ and AYF-Yoarf Arsen and with the participation of Homenetmen NJ, Hamazkayin NJ, ARS, and Agnouni, Bergen, Spitak and Shakeh Chapters, the proclamation is issued by Fort Lee Mayor Mark Sokolich, Esq.

(Parking is available at the rear of the buidling, between Center and Bigler Street.)

2018 Fort Lee FringeFest 6/1-6/2

The annual Fort Lee Fringe Fest takes place June 1st & 2nd as a run-up to the June 3rd Fort Lee Arts & Music Festival. The Fringe Fest is sponsored by the Fort Lee Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs and the events are free to the public.

June 1st at 6pm at Main Violin outdoor green at 523 Summit Avenue
Classical music concert by Camerata. Main Violin is housed in the oldest structure in Fort Lee the Ford / Walsh Mansion. Concert is free but bring a lawn chair or blanket.

June 2nd 1pm-5pm Fort Lee History Celebration at the historic Rambo House at 2423 First Street in the Coytesville section of Fort Lee
Dixieland music by Dr. Dubious & The Agnostics. BBQ with free food and soft drinks. Sponsored by the Fort Lee Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs, the Fort Lee Housing Authority and the Fort Lee Historic Preservation Commission. This structure dates to the 1860’s and was used as a movie location during Fort Lee’s days as the first American film town.

Fort Lee Arts & Music Fest Call For Vendors!

The annual Fort Lee Arts & Music Fest takes place on Sunday, June 3rd on Lemoine Avenue between Main Street and Bruce Reynolds Blvd. Vendor applications are available at or you can call the Fort Lee Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs at (201) 693-2763 or (201) 592-3663. We are looking for artists, crafters of all types and food vendors.
