The Barrymores of Fort Lee on Film and Stage

Cliffhanger Film Festival Spring 2014

Friday April 25th at 7:30 PM – screening of the 1934 film Twentieth Century, the greatest of all screwball comedies ever filmed -  starring John Barrymore and Carole Lombard. Admission free.

Saturday, April 26th & Sunday April 27th at 7 PM - live production of the acclaimed play "Barrymore" directed by Fort Lee High School Drama Department teacher Jodi Etra. Admission at the door $10 - $5 for senior citizens and students.

Screening of first African-American directed film on 2/16/14

Join the Fort Lee Film Commission and Palisade Interstate Park for a very special Black History Month film program and a rare screening of the first all talking African American movie musical shot right here in Fort Lee, NJ! February 16th at 1 p.m. at the Fort Lee Historic Park Museum Theatre off Hudson Terrace and Bruce Reynolds Blvd. The program features a book reading / signing by Grant Harper Reid whose grandfather co-directed "The Exile" with African-American film pioneer Oscar Micheaux.
