FORT LEE TOWN HALL MEETING: An Open Public Meeting Concerning the Safety of the Children of our Community

Date/Time: Wednesday, February 13, 2013 from 7:00 PM to 10:00PM
Location: Fort Lee Community Center (Second Floor Meeting Room)
The Mayor and Council and Board of Education of the Borough of Fort Lee are convening this open Town Hall Meeting to report to the community on current safety measures in place and initiatives to be implemented concerning the safety of our children. This Town Hall Meeting is open to all residents. The first portion of the meeting will be devoted to providing the public with information concerning safety programs and initiatives to be implemented in the immediate future. The balance of the meeting will be devoted to a question and answer period moderated by Mayor Sokolich. The panel of municipal representatives who shall be available to respond to all questions will include:
- Mayor Mark J. Sokolich
- Superintendent Steven Engravalle
- Police Chief Keith Bendul
- Deputy Chief Timothy Ford
- Lieutenant Patrick Kissane
- Fort Lee Council Members
- Board of Education Members
- Borough Administrator Peggy E. Thomas
- & Other Municipal Representatives
Everyone in attendance will be provided with a comprehensive update concerning borough-wide safety initiatives and will be given the opportunity to ask questions of municipal officials who are responsible for the safety of our children. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
