ATTENTION, Fort Lee taxpayers: revised final 2012/preliminary 2013 property tax bills for the Borough of Fort Lee, reflecting tax appeal reductions and any unpaid balances, will be mailed on or before Friday, September 28, 2012.
Tax payments are due February 1, May 1, August 1, and November 1 of each year. There is a 10-calendar-day grace period; interest is calculated at 8% on the first $1500 and 18% thereafter. No discounts are allowed for prepayments.

IMPORTANT: Interest at the rate of 8% per annum on the first $1,500.00 and 18% on the amount in excess of $1,500.00 will be added from payable date to date of payment received. There is a 10-calendar-day grace period; however, interest accrues from the original due date for any payments made thereafter. Tax sales are held once a year.
